The Pinacate Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a place that has hundreds of craters produced by underground explosions, as well as a large extinct volcano.

The tourist has the opportunity to camp with all the security measures and accompanied by certified guides in nature, in these spectacular lands; enjoy a delicious barbecued meat prepared in the style of the old Sonora in the middle of the desert, and listen to the impressive sounds of the nocturnal fauna shortly before sleeping.

In the morning and in the afternoon you will enjoy the sunsets on the cerro del tecolote to take a photograph that you will keep for life.

  • DEPARTURE AT 6 AM FROM HERMOSILLO
  • AT 4 PM ALREADY WITHIN THE RESERVE WE GET TO KNOW THE VOLCANIC LAVA AREA WHERE A SMALL TOUR IS MADE
  • LATER WE GO TO THE CRATER OF COLORADO
  • AT SUNSET WE CLIMB THE CERRO DEL TECOLOTE TO ENJOY THE VIEW
  • AT 7 PM DINNER AND PEOPLE GET READY TO REST
  • AT 6 IN THE MORNING WE CLIMB TO THE HILL TO WATCH THE SUNRISE
  • LOWERING WE HAVE BREAKFAST AND LIFTING CAMP
  • AT 8 AM WE DRIVE TO THE ELEGANT’S CRATER
  • AT 3-4 PM I RETURN TO HERMOSILLO

CAMPING AND SANDBOARD IN SAN NICOLAS

San Nicolás is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sonora, as it has gigantic dunes that mix with the desert hills of the coast. But they are also perfect for camping and sandboarding at all levels.

Camping one night in this place while enjoying the stars is magical, and much more if you accompany it with a meditation teacher who will take you to merge with nature.

We will establish our camp and teach you the basic practice of sandobarding, we will also carry the net and the ball to play some good beach volleyball matches.

During your stay in the San Nicolás dunes, you will enjoy traditional Sonoran foods such as roast meat and eggs with crushed eggs for breakfast.
